After viewing posts from around the Northern Hemisphere, it's safe to say that it is cold everywhere. Since temperature is rather relative, our cold will seem down right balmy to many of our Northern friends. The tourist featured above just got into town. He is headed to the beach to catch some rays before enjoying a wonderful Sushi dinner. While our cold seems warm to him, the wind is still the wind;no adjustment for latitude. Sorry little fellow! Better hang on to your hat.

CHANGES IN LATITUDE, CHANGES IN ATTITUDE
After viewing posts from around the Northern Hemisphere, it's safe to say that it is cold everywhere. Since temperature is rather relative, our cold will seem down right balmy to many of our Northern friends. The tourist featured above just got into town. He is headed to the beach to catch some rays before enjoying a wonderful Sushi dinner. While our cold seems warm to him, the wind is still the wind;no adjustment for latitude. Sorry little fellow! Better hang on to your hat.

ReplyDeleteI love the concept car. Too cool. This is usually when our local weather folks show "Yankees" at the Gulf beach sunning and swimming. Funny, I haven't seen even one...not even strolling. We folks from up north ARE smarter than the natives think.

ReplyDeleteIt was actually relatively warm here--a balmy 26 degrees! That's quite an improvement over the bitter cold we were having!
It got down into the teens here last night! I'm ready for it to stop.
