CHANGES IN LATITUDE, CHANGES IN ATTITUDE

After viewing posts from around the Northern Hemisphere, it's safe to say that it is cold everywhere. Since temperature is rather relative, our cold will seem down right balmy to many of our Northern friends. The tourist featured above just got into town. He is headed to the beach to catch some rays before enjoying a wonderful Sushi dinner. While our cold seems warm to him, the wind is still the wind;no adjustment for latitude. Sorry little fellow! Better hang on to your hat.

  1. Maybe his hat is just too big.

  2. Beware of him, he could be one of the treacherous penguins of Madagascar!

  3. Seems to be enjoying himself so I guess he likes the weather - I know I would teleport myself there at this moment if I could :)

  4. This little fellow is cute, isn't it? :)
Hmmm I think Sushi dinner is a fabulous idea, no matter about the weather!

  5. I'll be coming down in a couple of weeks. Hopefully by then I won't need my red striped scarf and my blue top hat.

  7. That's the trouble with Florida...people come here to wind down, only to find that it's cold and they wind up being blown into a palm tree by the wind.

I think I'll wind this up now. Bye!

  8. It is the wind that makes things cold even more than the temperature

  9. I love the concept car. Too cool. This is usually when our local weather folks show "Yankees" at the Gulf beach sunning and swimming. Funny, I haven't seen even one...not even strolling. We folks from up north ARE smarter than the natives think.

Hey, you could change your header photo to show the flow of ice bergs and a skating rink. It's even cold down your way!!

  12. B: Not a 'gator, probably the Grinch. Seems it could be a cousin to your visitor.

  13. Maybe he fell into the bushes, not because of the wind but because he had to much sake.

  14. Shouldn't it be post-penguintime? It's not supposed to get cold in Florida!

  16. LOL! What a riot! Cute!

It was actually relatively warm here--a balmy 26 degrees! That's quite an improvement over the bitter cold we were having!

  19. He's a perfect expression of how I feel about the whole "cold wave" thing. Let me know when it's over.
