ANYTHING FOR ART'S SAKE

There was a huge art fair last weekend in the downtown area. There will be shots from time to time of various works that I was able to take. It seems that artists don't like to have their works photographed. The artist pictured above took great umbrage at my shooting. He looked extremely agitated and tried to give me the evil eye. Apparently, I made him so angry his hair stood up. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get some quality shots. It is very hard to focus when you are being chased by a mob of angry artists. They couldn't scare me. After all, I drive a Yugo.

  1. He looks like a cockroach - very angry upper side plus suspicious look, but the flowers downside explain everything about his kind soul:-)))

  11. He doth look ferocious. And many artists do not want photos taken of their work ... at art shows here I've seen signs forbidding photos.

You might want to rethink your escape plans, though, as it seems Mr. Yugo tends to break down at the most inopportune moments.

    Funky post!

  15. Do you know the writer/artist Cllive Barker? Google him. That reminds me of the illustrations he did for a book called Abarat.

  17. I love it when you share artwork. Taking photographs can be tricky business when people or their personal property are involved!!
