IT WAS AROUND MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF...
I was taking a stroll the other day, seeing as I have to move my new knee and all, when out of nowhere, a tiny little girl emerged from the bushes. You can see how tiny she is compared to the flower pot in the background. She offered me an apple at, what I considered, too high a price. She persisted, and after much back and forth, we could not reach an acceptable price:She simply wanted more than I was willing to pay. I bid her ado and began walking away. I stopped and turned back apologizing for not getting her name. "Eve," she replied. Do you have any idea how fast you can run with a new knee?

It's a good think you didn't tell her you arrived for your walk in the Yugo. She would have run after you, wanting a ride in such an exotic automobile...
ReplyDeleteNice story, pretty little thing.
ReplyDeleteFantastic and lovely shot !!
ReplyDeleteWell, congratulations on both your new knee and your narrow escape!
ReplyDeleteI love your stories.... Glad you didn't take the apple...any snakes in the grass?
ReplyDeleteThis kid looks kind of spooky to me....
Now I see what happens when you eat too many apples. Your skin turns green. I always told my mom that there were dangers involved with eating fruits.
ReplyDeleteLOL, good imagination. I didnt even notice the pot at first.
ReplyDeleteHmm... this statue is a little creepy. Especially as a decoration in someone's front yard.
ReplyDeleteOh, you foolish man! Do you know what wonders would be revealed to you if you had only taken the apple?! Go Back!
ReplyDeleteDid you have to test the new knee? I think she was in the Garden of Evil. Didn't your Mother tell you about talking to strangers? RUN!!!!!

LOL! I am lucky I'm not getting a new hip. Took a spill taking out the trash the other night!
ReplyDeleteBTW, as your virtual secretary, I am reminding you that Theme Day is tomorrow and it's RED. Who loves ya Baby!

She does look a little creepy! I'm glad you got away.
ReplyDelete:) love your story telling with each image!
ReplyDelete:) love your stories that accompany your images!
ReplyDeleteAny snake around?
ReplyDeleteI always thought Eve only wore a little fig leaf. I think this little femme was fibbing.
ReplyDeleteOH MY, B! I love your imagination!
ReplyDeleteWell done .. its the snake you need to avoid!
ReplyDeleteThis picture is a story-starter--very nice! I hope your knee is doing well--and you with it!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great and funny 'script'! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'd take it. The Garden of Eden was over-rated.
ReplyDeleteFunny! But you changed the story. There's nothing about an apple in that ancient myth. :-)
ReplyDeleteThere's always something unexpected in your corner of Ft. Lauderdale.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds «Louis» that there is speculation that computers might actually date all the way back to the Garden of Eden. Eve had her little Apple and Adam had a big Wang...
ReplyDeleteOh yes, The Big Wang theory.
