IT WAS AROUND MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF...

I was taking a stroll the other day, seeing as I have to move my new knee and all, when out of nowhere, a tiny little girl emerged from the bushes. You can see how tiny she is compared to the flower pot in the background. She offered me an apple at, what I considered, too high a price. She persisted, and after much back and forth, we could not reach an acceptable price:She simply wanted more than I was willing to pay. I bid her ado and began walking away. I stopped and turned back apologizing for not getting her name. "Eve," she replied. Do you have any idea how fast you can run with a new knee?

  1. It's a good think you didn't tell her you arrived for your walk in the Yugo. She would have run after you, wanting a ride in such an exotic automobile...

  4. Now I see what happens when you eat too many apples. Your skin turns green. I always told my mom that there were dangers involved with eating fruits.

  6. Hmm... this statue is a little creepy. Especially as a decoration in someone's front yard.

  8. Did you have to test the new knee? I think she was in the Garden of Evil. Didn't your Mother tell you about talking to strangers? RUN!!!!!

  13. I always thought Eve only wore a little fig leaf. I think this little femme was fibbing.

  18. I'd take it. The Garden of Eden was over-rated.

  19. Funny! But you changed the story. There's nothing about an apple in that ancient myth. :-)

  21. This reminds «Louis» that there is speculation that computers might actually date all the way back to the Garden of Eden. Eve had her little Apple and Adam had a big Wang...

  22. Oh yes, The Big Wang theory.
