LIFESTYLES

While out photo hunting early yesterday morning, I passed this house. I was struck by the door. Certainly unique;a 'one of a kind.' The light coming into the house is the rising Sun. The house sits on the beach and the Atlantic Ocean is in their back yard. "Life's good," and no, it's not my house.

  1. Hope you weren't hurt when you were struck by the door (ha.) This reminds me that I should take a night photo (need the backlighting) of a sort of similar door here.

Lucky people to live right on the ocean, at least in fair weather.

  2. They got a very special door for a quite impressive 'backyard'...

  3. Lifestyles of the rich and famous. Not only does that house cost a fortune but the annual tax bit would pay for my whole house!

    Pretty door!

Re: your comment on Ocala DP. I think you're right. I thought it was a raccoon tail, but it does look more like a fox tail.

Or, as I mentioned to Brattcat, it could be an old wives tale!

  4. Strange door for a house, but I love that driveway - My driveway is just plain ol concrete, I think the brick has much more appeal.

  8. Are you sure its someone's home and not a hotel or restaurant? Odd door for a private home and it has an awning .. ummmmm

  9. The good life indeed, how lovely to have a house basked in sun like that.

  17. Yes, life is good...for some people. I think I prefer my humble little house in a middle-class neighborhood. On the other hand, I'd like to have my humble little house in that location! Had to laugh on V's comment; don't think I'd like my home compared to a motel!

  19. This is a beautiful front entry. very elegant and eye-catching. good that you captured it. I am glad you are enjoying the Biosphere series. It is a very different experiment and the space architecture is unique.

  20. Some people are clearly luckier than I am! LOL!

But if I had that much money, I might choose to spend it another way.

  21. Yes, it's unusual. I like the colors and the glass a lot. I, too, hope they fix Blogger soon. I've been able to post, but one of my friends found that a comment popped into my post that she'd made at an earlier time on another of my posts. Clearly weird.
