THE GIRL FROM IPANEMA

Tall, and tan, and young and lovely, the girl from Ipanema goes walking and when she passes, each one she passes goes - ahh. Ooh but I watch her so sadly, how can I tell her I love her, yes I would give my heart gladly, but each day, when she walks to the sea she looks straight ahead, not at me.
Tall, and tan, and young, and lovely, the girl from Ipanema goes walking and when she passes, I smile - but she doesn't see, she just doesn't see, she doesn't see.

  3. Be careful, do not fall in love. She can be married with children.

  4. Oh, that's cute...but I think the Girl is reliving her Ipanema moments, now that she's become a Red Hat lady.

  8. Well, it's your own fault! Dontcha know girls from Ipanema just don't see on their way to the sea. I'm surprised that she's part of the Red Hat Society, though...

You'd better leave her alone. We got a bunch of red hatters here and they can be tough ol' broads!

Re stuffed alligators: I thought of certain people in Tallahassee as stuffed shirts, but I think you are absolutely right: stuffed alligators is a much better description after watching them rend our state into mush!

  13. This one is even stranger than usual. I hope this was a shop at least and not someone's home!

  16. I think this may actually be the girl from Altadena, a Los Angeles suburb.

  17. I couldn't look without commenting. She's my dream and has left Florida's west coast for the snooty shores and canals of Lauderdale. Ain't fair. She's enough to get me again looking for my Tampa mannequins.
