TOWER, THIS IS PELICAN NINER..DO YOU COPY, OVER
It's hard to imagine why someone would have a Pelican on their wind vane. Maybe because their neighbors don't. They are interesting birds and very graceful in flight. However, just standing around figuring which way the wind is blowing, well, to each their own.

I'm learning that cats point to the west and pelicans to the north.
ReplyDeleteAnd never the twain shall meet.
ReplyDeletesquack!
ReplyDeleteSo saith the Pelican, "Like helican." MB
ReplyDeleteSomeone said you can't put that pelican on that weather vane. And he said, "What the helican too!"
ReplyDeleteHere's «Louis'» favorite pelican. ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting and unusual, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteNeither a pelican, nor a cat make much sense to me. In fact, I wonder where the idea of putting animals on weathervanes came from in the first place!
ReplyDeleteWhy the long face?
ReplyDeleteI really like this! A pelican is way better thn a rooster, which is what most weather vanes around here tend to have. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHow does orange pelican sound?
ReplyDeleteDoes he always face North?
ReplyDeleteCertainbly unique
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more, B!
ReplyDeleteRemember: You don't need a weathervane to tell which way the wind blows!
ReplyDeleteEveryone should have a weathervane like this one.
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable, also fashion because I think he has a beautiful wig...or it is his owner hair?!
ReplyDeleteAnyway...CUTE :)

*** However, my vote is for the "cat"! ;)
Did someone already say 'Its beak can hold more than its belican?"
ReplyDeleteCute little guy.
