WILMA!
I was driving by the nuclear power plant the other day and saw this creature walking about. For those of you who don't know, it is a Florida Lobster. It doesn't have claws like the boys from Maine but I would like to see them dunk a basketball. So next time you are down this way and see it on the menu, just order one:It should be plenty. You may want some extra butter, however.

I can't believe you just find these things. I think you're getting really good at PhotoShop :) Great text, as always.
ReplyDeleteDoes being next to the nuclear plant have anything to do with it's size? MB
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling that a lobster that size would be ordering ME, and not even care about the melted butter!
ReplyDeleteI loved your title, so funny!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, I don't know if I could order it, I'm on a diet here! :)
Hugs

Interesting! Our lobster would became ant :).
ReplyDeleteCool shot.
Red Lobster would love that one, does it have a glow?
ReplyDeleteOh. «Louis» is glad you explained. When he saw the title "Wilma" and saw the photo he thought this post was about his ex-mother-in-law...
ReplyDeleteI also am a little suspicious of the size of that creature and its proximity to the nuclear power plant.
ReplyDeleteDid they find this in the water near the nuclear power plant?
ReplyDeleteDid you find it up on Federal Highway?
You must have a powerful golf swing!
I guess these monster are quite difficult to cook. I can easily imagine a banquet of never ending Godzilla specials.
ReplyDeleteAh, the mysterious Florida unveiled!
tres impressionnant ;O)
ReplyDeleteThis lobster makes me feel good that I live inland.
ReplyDeleteYou really find the funniest things down there!
ReplyDeleteOK... is this its natural colour or the colour it becomes after having boiled? Our live lobsters are navy and become bright red when cooked so now you've got me wondering... This looks more like a cooked langoustine to me! Anyway, I'd love it, I don't need butter but I might have to freeze a lil' bit of it!
ReplyDeleteLobsters remind me those gross water bugs/palmetto bugs .. yuch
ReplyDeleteIt's huge and so perfect, how cool!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're back, hope all went well with your surgery.
I, for one, am glad that it doesn't have claws! I think I saw that movie, late night TV, in black and white....

LOL! Got into the teratogenics for sure. Funny!
ReplyDeleteHe looks a little scary to me!
ReplyDeleteThat one is big enough for a Super Bowl party!
ReplyDeleteWhoa!!!You gotta love some nuclear waste!!
ReplyDeleteI missed that 'crackin up' while you were gone!
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely award-winning street decor. Fantatic. I'm jealous. I thought crazy Tampa had ALL the weird and strange roadside creatures.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful find. (When they start serving shrimp at our nuclear plant I am going for the xxx-jumbo fried platter.)
:) He looks positively scary.
