GALT OCEAN MILE
This is one of the main streets in our city. It runs along the Ocean and is filled with tall condominiums. When we first moved here, there was one small hotel at the end of the street where the tall towers are in the center of the photo. Everything to the left was sand and sea grass. Change and progress? I'm dating myself but this entire city has grown in less than my lifetime. What does the future hold?

Your great capture reminds us that the cement and glass Florida of today lacks the character of yesteryear's Florida.
ReplyDeleteA street. Looks forward to the business center. I would like to have a place like this in the business. Greetings.
ReplyDeleteKnow what you mean! We were in that area for about 17 years and it changed dramatically. The future does not bode well, my friend. The seas are rising, too!
ReplyDeleteLooks like I imagine Miami.
ReplyDeleteThose towers are probably wonderful from the inside looking out, but they sure do cheat the rest of the world of a clear view and the peace of open skies and the ocean. Nature has her own way of settling these scores. Time will tell.
ReplyDeleteDo the owners stay year-round, or are they seasonal visitors?
ReplyDeleteGreat Avenue, Great picture!)
