This is not a piece of art. It is one of the new beach showers that looks like a piece of art. Given the setting, it's a nice addition to SKYWATCH FRIDAY.
P.S. I like your Shakespeare quote, too! I teach high school English and every day I put one of his insults on the board. The kids get a kick out of them. Today's was, "The tartness of his face could sour a ripe grape." ~Coriolanus
Fort Lauderdale has done a great job with the beach area and promenade...don't like the fact that some of the old shops and buildings are going, though.
I remember showers on the New Jersey beaches.. but living inland here in the Sunshine state we don't see them. That one is a beauty. Thanks for commenting on my blog.
Brrrr...don't think I'd be using that shower on the day you took the photo! I notice that you say "still crazy after all these years" to describe yourself. I say "still learning" on mine - I think I like yours better!
You order - we roast! We don't ship from an inventory. Your coffee is not roasted and packaged until you order. You are assured of top-quality coffee every time, shipped fresh from our roaster!
I'm sure it wasn't, but it looks like a cold day with those clouds and choppy water.
ReplyDeleteCrazy-looking showers!
Beautiful capture of the shoreline, I can't wait to visit Florida again soon.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteA very suitable shower installation for the beach. Thanks for visiting my blog. Cheers, J Bar.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice when something utilitarian can be made attractive. Nice photo. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis is an attractive addition. Ours tend to be more functional looking.
ReplyDeleteHeavy sky there. It looks like rain.
A beautiful setting for a beautiful sculpture that also serves a purpose beyond the pleasure one feels when looking at it!
ReplyDelete(Your profile picture looks familiar! *grin*)
A shower on the beach is great so you don't get all that salt on your upholstery.

Nothing like a beach shower to keep you from destroying your floor mats. Such a lovely beach, looks like a relaxing area!
ReplyDeleteLooks kind of like a mini lighthouse!
ReplyDeleteWhat a classy shower!

ReplyDeleteNo need for a beach shower here. Too cold for the beach. Love that muted sky
