RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE PLAZA
What can one say? People love animals and people need to go to work. If there is no one home to take Phaedaux outside, the solution may be Doggy Day Care. This is one of those businesses that wasn't around when I was growing up;then again, neither was "people" day care. Times change! I didn't venture inside as I was afraid it may be run by a revenge seeking pussy cat. Cats! That is an animal that knows what to do with his down time.

so good for people who love dogs but no time to tend to them!
ReplyDeletein tokyo they have 'rent a pet' which has become very popular!
I think this is a very promising business and could be even funny to manage.
ReplyDeleteTimes really does change. Never heard of this type of place when I was a kid, but today we see more and more of this where I live. Very often it is either young women or pensioners that do this kind of work.
ReplyDeleteMaybe doggie day care is also for when mommy dogs just need a day off.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous place ! :-)
ReplyDeleteWe love your blog!
Léia and little Luna(from Brazil)
ZZZZzzzzZZZZ phfyt---are you waking me up?!!!? It's my down time too.
ReplyDeleteDoggie day care--whoda thunk!! MB
Places like this still crack me up:) And I know several people who use such places. Now, when they come up with a Kitty-Kat Day Care you know it's time to check out.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot and great concept...I've seen a few of those previously, but I love this sign!
ReplyDeleteJim's comment cracks me up! Yes, no doggie daycare when I was growing up either!
ReplyDeleteLol, I think I need to change my career plan! ;-)
ReplyDeleteWith the tough economic times, I'm not sure this place will stay open long. I think doggy babysitting is a bit of a luxury.
ReplyDeleteIt's a growing business here too. Make me wonder why some people REALLY want dogs. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat's funny "Central Bark"
