A YELLOW HYDRANT ?

Here, and on many other sites, you see many murals. They have become quite ubiquitous on city buildings. This one is a little unusual. The wall is giving birth. A new mural is about to be unleashed to an anxiously awaiting public. What will it be? I am sure of one thing, it will be big! Stay tuned.

  6. Hopefully you'll bring us back here to see what happens.

I think the hydrants where I live are red... maybe orange. I will have to check now!

  7. They have our fire hydrants painted different colors for several years, including yellow. Then they came around and painted them all red but painted the top of each a different color. So some tops are green, some blue, some red, some white. The other top colors tells the firemen how much water pressure to expect from the hydrant they are using.

  11. ALL our hydrants here in Calgary are yellow! No idea why! They have black hats though. Will you show us the mural when it's done?

  12. I wait with bated (or is it baited) breathe for the new mural!! I love murals, although we are deficient in the mural department here in Lakewood. have a few, but not nearly as many as I'd like to see.....I visited austin texas in april, now there is a city with a lot of murals!

I wonder outside murals are a bit weather related and there's a direct correlation with number of murals and overall average temperatures...
