WALL TO WALL, WALL
I came across this mural by chance. While out in search of what, I can't remember, I ran into this very strange work;almost primitive by most "mural" standards. It certainly got my attention. You may want to click the image for a better view.

Click I did, and it is even more attractive that way. Quite nice. I hope it stays.
ReplyDeleteEye catching and unusual, but not really a thing of beauty. Probably it is even a bit faded...
ReplyDeleteIt kind of has its own thing going on. Its not bad.
ReplyDeleteIs the establishment still in business? It looks like it's faded, but that could be the original intent. Who knows?
ReplyDeleteLooks to be the work of more than one artist. It's a terrific find (I'm one of those rare birds who actually likes graffiti) and makes an intriguing post.
ReplyDeleteI like the soft chalk like effect! So much nicer than the spray painted crap you see everyhwere on everything.

ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. I added some info i had forgotten. MB
Primitive to say the least. Great find! (I love running into murals when I least expect them.)
ReplyDeleteA wall painted on a wall... an interesting idea!
ReplyDeletelike an old lost city? maybe Atlantis? heheheeee
ReplyDeleteSurely this was a children's art project. I think it's cheery.
ReplyDeleteI did enlarge it and it's beautiful! It almost looks like chalk.
ReplyDeleteLove that, somewhere between art and graffiti. Unusual mural.

I like this a lot ..reminds me of a painting I did, really, when I was in high school .. still have it .. great snap, Bill!
ReplyDeleteWell seen and well done!!:-)
ReplyDeleteWOW! That is REALLY COOL! I wonder if some has washed away--in any case, I like it.
ReplyDeleteI would have guessed kids did it but it looks too tall for that. I wonder what the artist is trying to say.
