YOU LEFT ME STANDIN' ALONE...

I came upon this interesting old truck in a very upscale neighborhood. The writing on the door says The Blue Moon Brewing Company. They are a division of Coors out of Colorado who merged with Molson out of Canada. I hope I haven't lost you. What the truck is doing here and why there is a big Marlin on it, I'm not sure. We have a restaurant here called The Blue Moon Fish Company. Maybe there is a connection;drink beer, eat fish. Works for me. Regardless, it's a pretty cool truck and a definite attention getter going down the road.

  2. I agree, the old Ford is very nice. The whole thing looks like an eye-catchy advertisement to me.

  4. These kinds of cars are always fun to see. For some reason this one reminds me of those wild coffins they are so fond of in Ghana.
    Check them out here.

  6. that's one gorgeous truck.

the truck owner is probably making some coin by slapping the blue moon advert on the side of the truck.

I'm into the idea of themes, so like the vehicle theme you have going this week!

  7. Neat truck. Looks like a 49-50 Ford. I bet it is for the restaurant. MB

  8. I don't know why but for some reason I can picture the back of the truck filled with beer drinking howling party animals while the truck cruises slowly down the main street.

  9. It is an interesting looking vehicle. I just read this morning where the oceans of the world are already being damaged by Global Warming.

  10. Hi! thank you for your comment on my blog. I listed your blog on my City Daily Photo section. Actually I visited Fort Lauderdale Beach four years ago, for several hours, as I returned from Miami by car. Nice to see again some familiar Florida scenes (also visited Orlando, St. Augustine and Jacksonville). Your cars are gorgeous!

  12. So then it's legal? I don't think they'd let anyone drive that here in the UK.

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Do come back for more of tomorrow and find out where we are going!

  14. That is a funny photo. It reminds me of a house in Croydon (just south of London) which has half a giant shark emerging from the roof. As you do.

  15. Both pictures of the car and the truck show us an excellent idea of cheap and direct marketing. Great series!

  16. Ha! I think it's go fishing and drink beer. That's definitely what ice fishing is all about. ;-)

  18. I like Blue Moon with a twist of orange. And I like fish. I also like this collection of interesting vehicles. It takes time and effort to put something like this together. Nice job, Don Vito.
