THE AGE OF AQUARIUM
Well Dorothy, we're not in Kansas (Michigan) anymore. We arrived back home to face 87 degree Fall weather. Not a single leaf has changed color and there is no squash of any kind in the grocery store. The land of 'perpetual summer', South Florida, is open for business once again. The above mural, for instance, would seem so out of place in the North. Yet here, in sunny Fort Lauderdale, it is quite common place. I even saw some kids trying to feed the fish.

Beautiful shot !! Art on the wall is always fantastic !!Unseen Rajasthan
ReplyDelete87 degrees and no colorful leaves? I don't envy you. I'm loving the cool fall weather, but check with me in December when I get a taste of my first Pennsylvania winter. :)
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, I see you have already found something worthy even there, in no time! Nice mural, and a very good shot.
ReplyDeleteI love murals like this, and enjoy doing them as well, whenever I have the chance, which unfortunately isn't often!
ReplyDeleteLooks like one of those fake aquariums on facebook
ReplyDeleteIn the words of Dorothy Gail, 'there's no place like home'. I would imagine you'll be particularly pleased to be viewing this wall in January when you've got that balmy air and we've got blizzards.
ReplyDeleteGreat title! And Test! I'm sure you are glad to be back. No threat of house high snow storms here!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back home, B Sq. I know the heat will take getting used to again. But think of all the murals you get to look at.
ReplyDeleteDid you see the kids trying to feed the fish when you were trying to catch them? :-)
Nice to have you back!
He's ba-ack!!! Welcome home!
ReplyDeleteTherer is something to be said about changing seasons, huh.
Well enjoy tghe sunshine while we get rained and snowed upon. MB
I'm ok with 87 degree fall. I even like the colorful mural!
ReplyDeleteLoL! Thanks for that laugh!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got back safely.
ReplyDeleteFunny, arty and a nice wall!
ReplyDeleteSmiles from the north!:-)
Send some of that nice weather up here ... glad you arrived safely!
ReplyDeleteWith a bit of practice, you could take this type of mural painting back to Michigan next year. Just think of the fun you'd have as they haul you away for mental evaluation...last heard yelling, "But they paint buildings with big cartoon fish like this all the time in Florida."
ReplyDeleteWelcome home Mr.B SQUARE!!
Glad you got back OK. That's a cute mural!
ReplyDeleteLove the mural. And the temperature sounds wonderful as well.
ReplyDeleteGreat mural. Great title. You can keep that weather. I'll be enjoying it in photos.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're home safe. That's a very nice mural, it's cheerful and bright. Cute that children want to feed the fish, hope their parents explain a few things about life on earth...
ReplyDeleteVery fun Mural!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are home safe!!! :-D
Stay cool, B! (If you can!)
Maybe the thing to do would be to follow the 65 degree isotherm south. Or the 70 one.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to South Florida B2!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, no pumpkins, no yellow, red or orange leaves. Well you can sit and pray for the temps to drop to what...... 60 so you can crank out some hot cocoa??? On the other hand, you have the most wonderful winters and never have to dread snow, ice or in our case in Bama, power outages. WE look forward to your great shots from home.

87°? EW! But soon you'll be smiling and pointing your finger at me...and laughing about my tales of snow.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! You sound surprised that some kids were trying to feed the fish. I guess the Florida kids or the fish painted or murals ain't the way you remembered them, eh?
Welcome back online, B Squared!
Yes, perfect for Florida's sunny weather ... definitely not to be seen at this time of year up here!
ReplyDeleteFun, happy mural. Makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteWe miss you! This mural is brings happiness, I loved those colours! And I also like fishes :)

Very nice naïf mural and great title.
ReplyDeleteGlad you made it back safely. It was quite a treat getting your Michigan reports over the summer. All of us who you have left behind will be down for a right friendly visit in January or February so get out the aero mattress. We'll keep you grounded with our daily reports from the real world.
ReplyDeleteAhh..., perpetual summer sounds great to me. I'm sure you will make the best of it. Nice mural, BTW.
