When I enlarged the picture, I noticed the fine print at the bottom says there is up to a $500 fine for violations. I think I would just have to find somewhere else to hang out!
A bit over the top, but then againsome of what they are talkingabout is jut a mater of protectng both the beach and the rights of others to have a little peace. I know that hen I was at the beach this summer, it made me crazy that people would ignore the rules and throw trash on the beach, let their sometimes aggressove dogs run free, leave dog poop on the sand and blast their music so that I couldn't hear the soun of the waves.
great post. do we have to be told everything in life. does no one have any common sense. they can't possibly list every no anyway. I am glad you liked the cliff rose macro photo on my site. thanks for your comments. it is a very delicate critter and was very hard to see that it had such fine, fuzzy hairs that made it beautiful once i took a macro shot.

Unbelieveble!!!I hope there are also No tourists!!regards ;)
ReplyDeleteAnother funnee post! I read the whole list of "No's," and when I was finished I was too tired to do anything but go home and take a nap!
ReplyDeleteBureaucrats! Dontcha just love 'em?
No no no, this won't do! Non, nein, niet!
ReplyDeleteNice find! I bet the list of things that are allowed would be amazingly short. (;
ReplyDeleteThey forgot no parking on the dance floor.
ReplyDeleteI am amazed you are permitted to read the sign!
ReplyDeleteHa! I agree, no fun! This reminds me of a sign I saw in a Brooklyn park right here last July.
ReplyDeleteI'd like a word with the author of such a masterpiece! I hope it doesn't continue on the back side...
ReplyDeleteToo much negativity and I agree it is no Fun.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm. Breathing still allowed?
ReplyDeleteDon't let the bureaucrats be in charge
ReplyDeleteLois, NO, meaning NO, photographs of the NO sign. OK!!?? (I think that's the only prohibition they missed.)
ReplyDeleteThey could have saved a lot of money by posting what is OK to do. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure what that would be.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Daryl! Lol! Great find!

ReplyDeleteLOL! I'd been thinking of heading up there? Is that up from here?
ReplyDeleteOur parks have these no-no lists. Whenever I am waiting to park, I find myself correcting the grammar on the thing and adding "no fun," too.

ReplyDeleteOh no!!! A land of laws. Nononono!!
ReplyDeleteYou are sooo talent to find good subjects for your posts! ;)
ReplyDeleteLéia
That's a good one! When I read: "Remove animal waste immediately," in the middle of all the "NO's" ... I guess they didn't want to write:
ReplyDelete"No dog poop left behind." heehee
Simplify. Just say, " If you want to do it.......you can't."

ReplyDeleteI must agree. I wonder who thought up that sign! He/she needs to get a life. ;-)
ReplyDeleteApparently a complete copy of the ordinance is available at the township office. Which has me thinking - is this in fact an abbreviated edition?
