OSTER SHREDDER

Another one of Those weird pieces of "Modern Art." Looks rather interesting from afar. Not quite sure what, or if, it represents. I believe it looks like a combination of a paper-shredder and a blender.

    okay...not so much...but... :)

Maybe the artist intend to represent a "confused mind".
    Great shot!

  3. Yes, bad hair day is not a bad description. Usually I am fascinated and really like contemporary art, but this one gives me pause. Perhaps I just can't relate to it?

  6. I thought it was Minnie Pearl's head!

Hope all is well with you!

  7. It could very well be the thousands of mortgages that have gone down the tubes. I knew they'd find some way to make the mess attractive. And put it on display!

Moving this one to your front yard, are you!!??

  10. Or a ball of shredded paper. Or Medusa's head.
I don't understand it either, but I actually like it!

  11. I need to get started in the art world. The most difficult thing is to make a name for oneself. Not quite as hard as it used to be over the centuries, but then again, I prefer Michelangelo Buonarotti and Camille Claudel.

Btw: you wanted to see more of Empress Marie-Louise's room. I'm thinking it should pop up just after Christmas when I'm done with the pre-X-mas stuff!

  12. Looks like my husband's hair when he first gets up in the morning!

Looks like one of those rubber band balls when the rubber gets old and starts breaking.

    Cool shot.

It is my Picasa web album that hosts all the blogger pix that now full.

  13. I think it looks rather good placed next to all those modern buildings. But, I wonder if the birds make nests in it?
