PRIDE OF COVENTRY
It's an old Jaguar. As I've commented on many of your blogs, I consider this more sculpture and art than automobile. Just gorgeous to behold. Take it in!

Oooh I love old Jags. Take that for a spin and a picnic along small country lanes...
ReplyDeleteamen!
ReplyDeletewow!
I would be afraid to even get close.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous indeed! What a 'face'!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty!
ReplyDeleteIf cars could talk what do you suppose this one would say...and in what accent...and with what tone?
ReplyDeleteLooks almost bug-like. I have to admit, thought, I vastly prefer later, sleeker Jags.
ReplyDeleteThis ole man looks like he's ready to have a conversation with those bug-eyed headlights and that grill mustache. What a great expression
ReplyDeleteHaha... I love JM's comment... I see a "face" too

Wishing you sunny days ~ Maria
What everyone else said----me too. Excellent. MB
ReplyDeleteIt is gorgeous! Love those headlights.
ReplyDelete«Louis» agrees with you that this is more sculpture than automobile!
ReplyDeleteQuestion: where does the Yugo fit on this scale?
The inquiring mind of «Louis la Vache» wants to know!
I told Jeeves not to park on the grass!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever seen one of these. Rather incredible. Those were the days, my friend!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree!
ReplyDeleteYes, you're definitely right.
ReplyDeleteOh man, that's a jewel!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
Cezar
My guess is around 1938 or 1939?
ReplyDeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beauty! I wouldn't want to get close to it for fear of scratching or damaging it somehow!
ReplyDeleteLove love love it! It almost looks like my favourite vintage Rolls Royce. It is indeed a work of art.
