FLYING FISH
This particular fish sits (stands) outside an art center. The eagle, a fish, and a totem pole are very special to the Native Americans in this part of the country. You see the three displayed prominently in their art. The totem poles feature many different birds and bears, as well.

There's so much going on with this piece I almost didn't realize it's a fish.
ReplyDeleteThis fish seems to be telling one whale of a tale as it stands on its tail.
ReplyDeleteThis is a neat one, couldnt tell the totem pole was painted on it and not in front of it.
ReplyDeleteWhere are you?
ReplyDeleteAre these all the same fish mold painted differently? I'm beginning to see a resemblance.
ReplyDeleteGreat fish. Love the eagle and totem . . .
ReplyDeletecolourfully interesting!
ReplyDeleteLove ;em!!
ReplyDeleteUsually the fish is on the totem not the totem in the fish.
Arlington, a town south of me has large painted Salmon everywhere too. MB
An interesting catch today, for sure. I think he wins the prize for most colorful.
ReplyDeleteAnother great catch
ReplyDeleteInteresting! Unique! Fun! Interesting! :-D
ReplyDeleteAnother gorgeous larger-than-life fish with a great livery!
ReplyDeleteThat's a new one. I've seen canvases made of cows and horses, but never fish - until now.
ReplyDeleteInteresting fish. The shape is like a plane.
ReplyDeleteThat is really creative!
ReplyDeleteIntriguing. And if this piece of art is an example of what's inside the "art museum," I'd love to see the rest of it!
ReplyDeleteI think this one has me a bit confused. Keep your fish series coming!
ReplyDeleteI need to squint really hard and cross my eyes a little to see the "fish" part ;D
ReplyDeleteLove the painted totem pole!
ReplyDeleteThat's very artistic. I like how the three come together.
