ROW, ROW, ROW YOUR BOAT
Labor Day has passed. The kids are back in school. Time for all the kayaks to be tucked into their bunks for a well deserved rest. Speaking of which, the staff and I will be incognito for a few days. Seems we have located a possible replacement for the FTLDP staff car and will be entering into serious negotiations to acquire it. Since this will demand our full attention, we beg your indulgence and will be back soon.

Nice group of forms and color. Have a lots of luck with this negotiation.
ReplyDeleteAre you going to buy a kayak on wheels?
ReplyDeleteLike the colors:)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day:)
A most exciting time for you and your staff. Since the Yugo is a STAFF car will it have any say in the final outcome. One wonders. MB
ReplyDeleteSurreal, somehow.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the new shot of the FTLDP vehicle, especially when it causes a total photo shut down! hahaha
ReplyDeleteLove the colorful wall of kayaks!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your car negotiations! When they won't budge anymore on the price, I always try to get them to throw in the little extras :o)
I understand this kind of negotiations are serious and challenging. Keep us posted...
ReplyDeletePerfect description of the kayaks being tucked in their bunks. They'll be in a deep slumber for a few months, most likely. Wishing the staff good luck with the negotiations! Go get 'em! (btw, it's a good thing you clarified it was a staff 'car' and not a 'vehicle'....b/c with this post I'd be wondering if you were opting for water transit.)
ReplyDeleteHope you're good at driving a bargain home.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! Keep us posted!
ReplyDeleteSo it is true - it WAS the chassis of the new FTLDP staff car in the previous post!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! Negotiating for a vehicle isn't always a lot of fun. We just finished such and will be heading west in it soon.
ReplyDeleteI have never been in a kayak, but it looks fun.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with trading in the Yugo. Not sure you'll get much for it. But I think it has historic value.
have fun!!
ReplyDeleteI wonder which is more fun, the staff car or the kayaks?
ReplyDeleteThank God for the kids being being back in school!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to take one of those out for a spin.
I hope they turn them right side up before paddling
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your negotiations. What about a kayak as the next staff "car"?
ReplyDeleteI would like to try it someday!
ReplyDeleteThe red one for me please!
Léia :)
Good luck negotiating! Ha! People mostly use a good canoe for getting down our river. Putting one of these on wheels might be your best bet.
ReplyDeleteBoat bunk beds! What a novel idea
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the REVEAL on the staff car.
ReplyDeleteMOVE THE BUS!!!! Let us see what you selected!
Rims? Leather interior? Vanity Plates? You only roll around once!
That's a colourful collection!
ReplyDeleteOoh, sounds like serious business! Just don't forget, YOU THE MAN!!! ;D
ReplyDeleteWhat, you can't buy another used Yugo and blog at the same time? Geezzz
ReplyDeleteV
quelles jolies couleurs !
ReplyDeleteIn New Zealand, Autumn is still warm, so schools have water sports .
ReplyDeleteI did a bit of kayaking in January in my brother's place in Australia. it was surprisingly easy to do. Considering I never did it before.
I love the colorful kayaks! Nice photo of them preparing for a long winter's nap. Re: the staff car - it's those small decisions that are the hardest, right?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a setup. Different colors give a very special tone to the photo.
ReplyDeletegreetings
That's funny - I was thinking this weekend that now that's it's cooled down a bit, time to take the kayaks out!
ReplyDeleteSo sad that they have to be tucked in so soon.
ReplyDeleteNice boats! Are they for sale?
ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't visited sooner. Been under the weather.
Many thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come visit again tomorrow!
Hope your negotiations go well. Love the shot of the coloured kayaks
ReplyDeleteOCTOBER THEME DAY IS.......GRAFFITI. Be there or B Square!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI finally am able to revisit some of my favorite blog friends and everyone is off playing somewhere. Was a high-level meeting of Florida bloggers called at Cinderella's Castle and I missed the invite?
ReplyDeleteNot the Yugo!!!! Say it isn't so!
ReplyDeletePlease tell me this isn't the last photo you have posted!!! Where are you???
ReplyDeleteKayaks: so many! Must be great to see them all out on the water.
