I'M GREEN WITH ENVY

After a long car ride and a sedentary summer, it helps to get out and stretch a little bit. I think it is a wonderful, healthy thing to do. Not for me, you understand. I would rather take photos of people exercising than actually do it myself. The person above, for instance. It is a sweltering 90 degrees and he is the 'picture' of health;albeit a rather stiff picture.

  1. I am glad your back on your own turf. It seems okay to me to wear shorts and sandals all season long. Nonetheless if you get bored you can visit the Pacific Northwest this Winter and enjoy the incredible variety of seasons.

  4. Interesting....but is it a person? Maybe it's too early for me to do any abstract interpretation. Green is my second favorite color!

  8. Funny words! I just started a program of running and walking! I hope do not lose my promise!
This guy is in a perfect shape. And I'm envious here because I guess he know a lot about stretching! The only one who could do it here is my little Luna, she is skilled of stretching as well! :)
    Cool post!

  9. This photo is an argument for not taking weight reduction too seriously.

  12. I kept telling myself that when it cooled off around here, I was gonna start walking after work. Well now it's cooled off and I'm not walking! I need to start.

  14. 90 degrees? Jeez! It's raining & cold here, maybe 50 degrees, but I can't get my weather deal to pop up.

  16. And I didn't even see you take my picture. (If my back gets any more stiff and arthritic I won't be able to get into this position anymore.)

Glad to see your camera is limbering up in the increased heat and humidity. I thought you brought cooler temps back home with you!!??

  17. LOL! I'd have to do a LOT of exercising to look like THAT!!! Speaking of which, I'd better run out and do some now or I'll look too much like the michilin man or the pillsbury doughboy. Oops, wait, I already do!

    HA HA HA! Funny!

  20. I think this one stretched too far and was heat-welded to the concrete...please be careful...you wouldn't want the same fate to befall you!

  21. At 90 degrees, I'd be taking photos, too. From the water, in the water, or in a nice A/C building of some sort. Enjoy your fall weather! (Fall???)

  24. I thought it was a bike rack at first. Is it in a park? You're right, they look pretty stiff. Must be arthritis.

  25. It reminds me a bit of the metal disentanglement puzzles. You know, these double wire thingies...
