BLACK CLOUD
Sometimes life just isn't fair. After a horrendous night's sleep, I got out of bed, tripped over the dog, stumbled into the kitchen only to find that we were out of coffee. Well, 'it can't get any worse', I said to myself as I headed out to get my morning paper. I guess you can tell how the rest of the day went from the photo of my car. Yep! No paper, either.

Life can be the s#@ts. I hope eventually things got better. MB
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that your camera had enough batteries to catch this unfortunate moment. In a day like this, who knows?
ReplyDeleteI bet it was that squawking peacock that kept you up all night.
ReplyDeleteDid it poo-poo on your car? Last Saturday at 6, I awoke with a start, thinking I'd be late for work....couldn't get back to sleep...
ReplyDeleteTo make your day even worse, I guess that interesting bird left a surprise for you on the top of your car?! But tomorrow is Thanksgiving - things are looking up!
ReplyDeleteHope that black cloud has already lifted and you eat some lovely peacock...um, er turkey for dinner tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteohmigo, what special visitor!
ReplyDeleteFunny story, I hope your car is clean! LOL

ReplyDeleteThat was my day on Monday! I'm so sorry - I HATE those days & wish they could be ERASED!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGAH some mornings its better to sleep in .. hope you have a much better tomorrow and a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking there's no way to go but up, now.
ReplyDeleteSheesh! In the photo the car looks like it must have been so clean and shiny before....
Well, I hope the rest of the day will be ok, and that you soon will have a goodnight sleep again.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, good that your camera was working! :-)
Is that a peacock? Did he poo on your car? :(
ReplyDeleteThe no coffeee would be a bummer, but I have to say, that bird on my car would totally brighten my day.
ReplyDeleteI suppose "Have a nice day" would be unacceptable here.
ReplyDeleteI loved your comment on Lee's Bend, Oregon, Darwin post.
Oh sorry, I'm laughing. I shouldn't be, huh? Hope the afternoon is better!
ReplyDeleteThat IS funny (sorry!) but if MY day had started likes yours did I think I might be serving that bird tomorrow at Thanksgiving dinner and putting up with everyone's praise about the unusual (!) turkey this year.
ReplyDeleteThe coffee alone is almost unbearable but NO paper? Now I would go berserk.
DO have a Happy Thanksgiving. (Next year, be prepapred with a net for the Thanksgiving "turkey."
LOL! LOL! Sorry, BSquared, but I couldn't help it! Hope the rest of the day will cheer you up! :-)
ReplyDeleteHope the bird wasn't your dinner for tomorrow and escaped.
ReplyDeleteSorry you had a bad morning! Hope the rest of the day has been better.
ReplyDeleteSeagulls are always such characters.
ReplyDeleteSome days just shouldn't happen
ReplyDeleteSometimes even life in paradise doesn't run smoothly. I hope the peafowl didn't leave a "deposit". Yikes!
ReplyDeletehahahaha what a day!
ReplyDeleteYou didn't sic "the boys" on them did you? Gulp.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a "Murphy's Law" day - If anything can go wrong it will go wrong!
