One of our London bloggers (Ham, maybe...gotta check) has a whole series of lion photos. This would fit nicely! The colours are coordinated!
ReplyDeleteAlto! He seems to be emerging from a yellow fog. Peddlers and pamphlet droppers beware.

I think this creature is supposed to be guarding the house...but from what? Did it scare YOU?
ReplyDeleteIt's an interesting color, too. I'm glad you finally found some relief.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great Turkey day and that all else is well!
That lion looks a little creepy. I don't like it when the eyes look blank like that!
ReplyDeleteI like that! Nice capture.
ReplyDeleteA lion and a four digit number remind me of something I posted last Saturday... Anyway your lion is much more composed than mine!
ReplyDeleteThat lion is a bit spooky looking.
ReplyDeleteISn't there supposed to be a knocker?
ReplyDeleteI wonder what happened in that year. This would make a great movie poster.
ReplyDeleteI must confess that, for a second, the idea of this lion 'dating back to 1,535' being in some museum or exhibition just crossed my mind... LOL! Great detail, anyway! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhose that knocking at my door .. can you hear me roar?
ReplyDeleteThe eyes of this King of Beasts are powerful. Great capture!!
ReplyDeleteIt's obvious unlexx you are xyslexic, which I nearly am, being quite tired. I do love the locors.

Little details like this can make a home so special. Lion heads are one of my favorites.
