NO HOLIDAY DELIVERY?

I came upon this mailbox by accident. While shooting tomorrow's post, I turned around to find this pretty strange mailbox. Very patriotic and certainly one of a kind. I wonder if the people who live here get preferential treatment? Come back tomorrow to see what he is staring at.

  2. Your mailbox posts are a lot of fun! You should put together a little book!

--and I think Uncle Sam was staring at you this time!

  7. I'm a little worried about what he's staring at. I'm afraid it's going to be a naked lady or something!

It's fun that you have such a variety of mailboxes. Most of the neighborhoods around here have covenants where everyone has to have the same one.

  8. Again, I don't know how you find all of these unique postal receptacles...but they are kinda fun.

  9. Love it. What could be better then Uncle Sam receiving the mail? I think he's staring with disdain at all the manatee and jumping shark mailboxes across the street. He thinks THEY look ridiculous. (What is he doing in the garage??)

    Terrific post !!

  10. Uncle Sam is there to accept someone's daily mail. What a guy!

  11. The car model chosen seems slightly less patriotic so this could be a good compensating measure.

  12. As I was reading your post today, I noticed the temp there in Ft Lauderdale is 76 degrees, I'm so jealous! It's rainy, foggy, & cold here in SE Mo.

  13. Hmm -- could he be looking at the (even more strange) mailbox that has replaced him? He does look a little worried...

  14. This guy only accepts the usual mail such as letters, bills and catalogues. If someone sends a birthday present in a parcel, help is needed!

  15. That is a strange mailbox--not in the best of condition. Are they Americans living there?
