WHERE'S THE OCEAN?

Another of the many ways to see the city. A popular tourist vehicle that can show you around town, give you a little history, and not get lost or have to ask for directions. We locals are very grateful for that.

  1. I like traveling on the bus (tour or regular public) when I visit a new city. It's a great way to get acquainted with an area. Glad it pleases the natives, too.

  2. I am hoping for a few upsets this weekend also. Taking a tourist bus is a good idea, I have done it before then went back later to visit sites that caught me eye.

  6. It's always fun, and kind of surprising, to run into tourists from other states or countries wandering about...and sometimes a little lost. I guess it helps us to see how we look when we travel and don't have a clue where we are.

  7. Are you saying you don't like to help people? ;-)
I probably would not get on this contraption, but then again I do know something of Ft Lauderdale and probably would not get lost.

  19. This is a great way to see a city for the first ti,e. I like getting an overview and then seeing the details.

I once lived in a place where people were constantly asking for directions so know how frustrating that can be. Where I live now it's impossible to get lost...well, almost.

  20. It's pretty--I've never taken one. I'm the one wandering around on foot asking which was to the ocean.
