FUN, FUN FUN TILL HER DADDY TOOK THE T-BIRD AWAY

There is no shortage of interesting cars in Michigan, especially in the resort areas such as this. Take the above example as a case in point. For those old enough to remember, The Thunderbird was one of those cars you dreamed about owning one day. Movie stars were often seen driving them as were all the other "cool" people. This one was immaculate inside and out;a real classic. Perhaps some young kids will pass by and dream of owning her one day.

  4. Ah! The "Squarebird". When Ford replaced the original 2-seat Thunderbird of '55-'57, the purists howled, but the '58 "Squarebird" out-sold the 2-seater by a large margin. Is this one a '58? This body style was continued through the '60 model year.

We hope your Yugo didn't find out you had been looking at this car. Its wheels might fall off in jealousy...

It would be fun to just rent a T-Bird even just for a day!

  17. It is wonderful that some people take care of this kind of cars, and I hope that their driver, young or less young, will take care either!

  18. I guess people resonate to different car eras - this is definitely not the one that works for me - I like rounder, sportier cars.
