STAMPED OUT

I haven't seen any new additions for our MailBox series, till now. If there was ever a mailbox that is self-descriptive, it's this one. I'm surprised there aren't more like it. Then again, with the cutbacks to the Postal Service, there may be a lot more in the future. F.Y.I. Blogger seems to have it in for me today, first it published my post 7 hours late and now it won't allow comments to be posted to the site. It really is a conspiracy.

  2. That's a perfect mailbox! Can't help but wonder if a USPS employee lives there.

  3. I love that! How cute. Unfortunately, in the city, there is not many mailboxes. What we have is letterboxes - very boring.

Thank you for your well wishes on Norwich Daily Photo's 3rd birthday. Here's to another great year of photos.

  4. Look out! That mail box postal truck looks to be in better shape than most Post Office trucks - they mail "appropriate" it...

  5. Cutbacks? Canada Post has the U.S. Postal Service beat in that department, I'm pretty sure. (But I'm no expert.) We don't have door-to-door service in my village but have to retrieve our mail at community mailboxes. And our mail lady doesn't drive a cute little truck such as this but has to drive her own car. But smile, at least the mail gets through...eventually.

    Cute little truck.

  6. This mailbox is so adorable... Ours is in the shape of a barn... this year it needed fixing or replacing... After going to Home Depot and checking out the prices for the "custom look" mailboxes... My husband gave our mailbox quite a makeover. Looks better now than ever!

A really good find 'B' ... glad you were able to capture it for us :D
~Enjoy the week ahead~ Here in upstate, NY we're having "Florida" weather! 95+

Cool mailbox, maybe the post office should sell them and make themselves some MORE money. MB

  15. I would hope this thing wouldn't start up and haul the mail off to somewhere else! Cute, though.

Re your comment on Ocala DP: No Yugos. I was confused at first, 'cause I walked in and asked if they had Yugos. The sale rep didn't know what I was talking about so he called over the sales manager who listened to me and then said, "Yes. You go to the bank, get money, then come back and by car."

I said, "You go crazy first!"
