GROOVIN' ON A SUNNY AFTERNOON

On a hot summer day families like to do a lot of different things. Many like to go down to the beach and chill out in the water. Lots more like to go to a park and just kind of hang out. This family was just sitting around, reading, staying cool and enjoying a sunny afternoon. Parks are really nice places to take the family and not be bothered by city life if only for a short while.

Bill, I have to thank you for all of your visits to Greensboro Daily Photo. We all work so hard at these daily photo sites. For some reason, I get a lot of views but not a lot of comments. My long time buddies like you, Dina, and Jacob keep me going! As you will know, the effort to keep one of these blogs going is tremendous.

  11. If they stay out in the park too long, will they wind up looking like this?

The inquiring mind of «Louis la Vache» wants to know!

  17. Last night a deer woke us up just before dawn... {about 4:30am}...
It sounded like a bear climbing our apple trees picking them and eating them...
The ones you photographed are nice and quiet :D

  18. I like deer that read. Just an hour ago I was crossing the small bridge from Warrenton to Astoria, and on the Astoria side just beyond the traffic circle there was a mom and two fawns trotting down the road. There were some safe places around, but also some dangerous ones. I wanted to say, "Please! Get your kiddies out of the street!" At least in town they are *relatively* safe. Not so on the highway.
