A DAILY PHOTOGRAPH FROM "THE VENICE OF AMERICA"
NOW ON SUMMER VACATION IN HARBOR SPRINGS, MICHIGAN
Everybody loves a parade. There is such an air of festivity about it. Love old-fashioned 4th of July celebrations.
Looks like you had a good time!
Aren't small town parades corny but terrific? After weeks of rain, we had a picture perfect baseball, hot dog and apple pie kind of day. You must be loving Michigan. I appreciate your stopping by every day!
Under the sun those poor dogs will be really hot!(Now I am here thinking that hot dogs could be nice for a lazy Sunday evening...)
And a great time was had by everyone...heck, everyone was in the parade!Love it! Have a great day up there in Michigan!
The all-American parade cannot be improved upon. We all turn out to see ourselves and be a part of the shared fun and celebration. Thanks for capturing yours and sharing.
"Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism -how passionately I hate them!” Albert Einstein
I bet that was fun.
A great slice of Americana. Great photo of people celebrating life. I am glad you enjoyed the photos on my site. Today I have an unique photo of Chihuly glass art that changes color at a certain time of the day based on the sun's rays.
Looks like a lot of fun! I wish we had a 4th of July parade here.
Those are without a doubt my kind of hot dogs. Do enlarge this one, folks!
hope you had fun!
I'm with Per on this one!
A dachshund parade entry. How fun. Love it when photographers capture slices of Americana that we don't see every day!
Hope it was good!
That's my kind of all-American hotdog! (I'm vegetarian!) Love your title for the parade. How very clever!
Yay!! Nothing better than parades and hot dogs.
