HANNIBAL ON HIS WAY TO THE ALPS

The murals are spreading. They seem to be everywhere. This one is on the side of a warehouse. We don't have elephants here, in spite of what you may have heard to the contrary. Nor, do we have mountains. As such, why wouldn't you put them on a wall? And there you have it. Hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend. Be safe out there!

  1. Are you sure these are the Alps?! ;-) Strange how the trucks seem to want to block the elephant's progress!

  3. I think Fort Lauderdale must be where old muralists go to retire. You are so lucky to have all of this wall art.

  10. Maybe the trucks want to give the elephant a lift...
Is that a Yugo truck on the right?

    oh.

Yugo didn't build trucks. «Louis» confused GM with Yugo for a moment. Given GMs 'quality' in the last 20 years or so, the Yugo might be more reliable...

  13. Well, you do have trees and grass and people, so that's something. Maybe the author suffered from elephantitis and wanted to move to the mountains to see if that would help his condition.

  16. I don't know. It looks very lifelike to me. Especially that monkey in the tree wearing a baseball cap and waving an American flag.

  17. Is this a warehouse for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Baily Circus perhaps? Just a thought.
