IT'S ALWAYS TWELVE O'CLOCK SOMEWHERE
I've passed the building many times and never noticed this side of it. It has a wonderful quality to it. It tends to draw you in, almost invites you in. I'm beginning to think I should rename Fort Lauderdale, Mural City.

Neato! Sort of makes you feel like you're stepping into a Pepe La Pew cartoon. There's a tromp l'oeil muralist near where I live (Monterey)who is really amazing. http://www.illusion-art.com/
ReplyDeleteTime to go in for a bite, it's raining. Nice trompe-l'oeil.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of trompe l'oeil. I like this.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, its a great name. This mural are impressive for it size and visual impact!
ReplyDeleteSomehow there is a charming French feeling in all!
ReplyDeleteAdorable mural!

Wow! That's a wonderful mural. I want to pull up one of those brown chairs and order a cafe au lait. Nice find.
ReplyDeleteI would stop off on the patio for lunch. Might get hit by a car though.
ReplyDeleteThis one is really wonderfully done. Fort Lauderdale: The Mural City has a nice ring to it. Why don't you approach the town with your portfolio and make a suggestion?
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the nicest murals I've seen and I think it would attract me to eat at the place.
ReplyDeleteOr perhaps Trompe l'Oeuil Ville?
ReplyDeleteExcellent mural. I almost walked right in. See I have a bruise on my forehead. LOL MB
ReplyDeleteNow this one is great!
ReplyDeleteAmen to renaming FL to Mural City!
ReplyDeleteAnd a very pointed Shakespeare quote!
I'm thoroughly charmed.
ReplyDeleteCertainly a place for artists. Seems to be so many murals to be painted.
ReplyDeleteI have seen more nice murals in your posts than anywhere else. Something is going on down there, you're really becoming an open air museum...
ReplyDeleteKeep looking...
I love it! It's so pretty. I enjoy murals like this.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. See you tomorrow!
I LOVE seeing the murals from Fort Lauderdale. It sure beats graffiti!
ReplyDeletehee hee
ReplyDeleteYou do seem to have an abundance of murals there! When are you going to show us the mural on the Yugo dealer?
I was thinking the same thing - So many murals there - that one looks really nice, too - I like the real life quality to it
ReplyDeleteI bet people walk into that wall all the time.
ReplyDeleteI can think of a lot of new names for Fort Lauderdale, and all would be more interesting than F.L. This one is a beauty. Someone knew what they were doing. Did you ever hear the song that says, "Somewhere in the world it's 4 a.m." I always liked that.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty and inviting.
ReplyDeleteI discovered that many cities actually have a plethora of murals when one starts searching or noticing. Always a pleasant surprise.
ReplyDeleteNicely captured mural! Very pleasing and yes it draws me in.
