IT'S ALWAYS TWELVE O'CLOCK SOMEWHERE

I've passed the building many times and never noticed this side of it. It has a wonderful quality to it. It tends to draw you in, almost invites you in. I'm beginning to think I should rename Fort Lauderdale, Mural City.

  1. Neato! Sort of makes you feel like you're stepping into a Pepe La Pew cartoon. There's a tromp l'oeil muralist near where I live (Monterey)who is really amazing. http://www.illusion-art.com/

  6. Wow! That's a wonderful mural. I want to pull up one of those brown chairs and order a cafe au lait. Nice find.

  7. I would stop off on the patio for lunch. Might get hit by a car though.

  8. This one is really wonderfully done. Fort Lauderdale: The Mural City has a nice ring to it. Why don't you approach the town with your portfolio and make a suggestion?

  15. I have seen more nice murals in your posts than anywhere else. Something is going on down there, you're really becoming an open air museum...
    Keep looking...

You do seem to have an abundance of murals there! When are you going to show us the mural on the Yugo dealer?

  21. I can think of a lot of new names for Fort Lauderdale, and all would be more interesting than F.L. This one is a beauty. Someone knew what they were doing. Did you ever hear the song that says, "Somewhere in the world it's 4 a.m." I always liked that.
