LIVINGSTON, I PRESUME

Another in our WIND VANE series. This appears to be a bird of prey. A friend thought it was a Seagull. I don't think so. He did say his name was Jonathan, however. He does look like he has been repaired a few times. And if I'm not mistaken, the wind direction is WNW but he is pointing more to the south. These people may need a second vane for confirmation.

  1. Must be a politician. Pointing in every direction yet going nowhere.

  3. If that's a seagull, I'm a hawk. And even weather vanes can be wrong.

  4. Enlarged your photo to see if it was a seagull or an eagle, but 'twas all in vain.

  5. Just goes to prove you can't trust a bird of prey masquerading as a seagull.

  10. Why are folks in Fort Lauderdale so vane?

Why don't folks in Fort Lauderdale know which way the wind is blowing?

Why don't folks in Fort Lauderdale know the difference between a chicken and a seagull?

    I don't know, do you?

  11. Maybe your friend meant a 'sea eagle,' not a seegull? Great series of wind vanes.

  19. :) I guess he's undecided or maybe hoping for a change of wind. He doesn't look like a seagull to me, but I can't say for sure what it is.
