DEAR ME

Deer season is a really big deal in this part of Michigan. The schools close on the first day of the the season. I'm not a hunter myself. So when I came across these two deer the other day, I had to inquire why they were so thin. "To present less of a target," they replied. I can see right thru that logic.

  2. You have a special talent for photo-hunting.
What a success to meet a pair of deers in the middle of the woods.

  3. This is a very smart evolution: less target and no meat, hunters please take note!

  7. Once someone took one of these out on the golf course and was practicing their archery on it. Not the best place to hone your hunting skills.

  11. Very funny, you witty person, you! I thought maybe they just didn't get enough to eat up there in Michigan.

  15. They probably think they can dodge bullets.

  16. I like the sculptures! But school closing for deer season? I'd be scared to be in the woods with that many people with guns!

  17. Nicely captured. Is this where the wild things are?

  18. I also noted the bullet holes. I like VP's evolution theory, and it seems to go further - bullets don't harm them, either.

  19. Hahaha. Clever! I'm glad to know that you don't hunt. I really have strong feelings about it.

It's scorching over here right now. What is it like over your neck of the woods? Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come visit again tomorrow!

  20. I forgot: in the UK, GP surgery means doctor's clinic :D So the walk in patients I was talking about in one of my recent posts are people who go to the doctor's office without any appointment. Sorry for the confusion.

  21. In Alabama if we didn't have deer season, Bambi would be hosting my blog.
