THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT
This young lad is my grandson. After an evening session of feeding deer at a park in town, he spots the only puddle for miles around. He makes a bee line for it;laughing hysterically. Unfortunately, only one shoe made it through on his feet. Now reality starts to set in. Does he wade in to get it and risk the wrath of his mother who is shaking her head in disbelief. Or, does he just concentrate real hard and become invisible. Son, there's a price for everything. Only one scoop of ice cream tonight.

Boys and mud puddles--they just go together. Love it!! MB
ReplyDeleteSuch difficult choices at that age!
ReplyDeleteCute, typical and love your title!
ReplyDeleteCute kid, he's obviously trying telekinesis, without knowing of it. Sometimes it works...
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! Seems like he is just about to discover mud play. (;
ReplyDeleteIt appears that he is full of his grandfather's wild genes.
ReplyDeleteNo He's really thinking, Hmm I could put a sail on it couple of soldiers and wade into battle.
ReplyDeleteOnly 1 scoop, so mean, just like a grandparent.
ReplyDeleteGod, that's cute. You can just see the wheels turning in his head! Only one scoop? You are so hard! ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh no, run through, jump up & down in it! It's sooooooo much fun! LoL!
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the gummy bears on that ice cream.
ReplyDeleteOh MOM! Those are Crocs, wash em off with the hose and give that sweet baby two scoops! :) Great shot Gramps.

ReplyDeleteGreat post. (Good looking boy!)
Mud is for kids and kids are for mud. I'm sure glad my parents let me wallow.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great shot- you can tell he's probably thinking "COOL!" then "Uh-Oh!" - and a great title.
ReplyDeleteWonderful capture!

ReplyDeleteYou must be the perfect Grandpa! You understand your grandson so well. LOVE this photo. ;-)
ReplyDeleteCute post. Puddles were made for little kids. They go together like peanut butter and jelly or franks and beans.
ReplyDeleteToo precious!
ReplyDeleteIt's childlike joy... a beautiful thing!
Too funny. Sometimes mud is just irrestistable.
