WHAT'S BEHIND DOOR NUMBER ONE?
This is a door to nowhere. It is right on Main Street in the heart of the town. It is the most interesting entrance on the street. Yet, it is not a retail store, an office, or anything else for that matter. Rumor has it that it once housed a theatre group. It seems implausible considering there are stores on either side and the space is not much wider than the door itself. Just another of those interesting mysteries. It certainly is an attention getter and demands another summer of research to get to the bottom of.

a result of a whim or fancy?!!
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmmmm! You are going to find out for us aren't you? Inquiring minds want to know. It is a very attractive door. MB
ReplyDeleteI'm one of those people that just have to know. While going through old buildings, or a store or whatever something will catch my eye. I seem to have a need to know what's on the other side of the door. So I check.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the stragest doors I have seen around. It's nice either, and looks well maintained. I'll keep my curiosity in check until next summer...
ReplyDeleteIt's about a door that leads you to another world or another dimension.
ReplyDeleteIf you not prepared you should not try.Nevertheless this is a gateway to great and creative minds and yes they can open the door handle and get into that other dimension. A dimension of magic and fantasy, where colour, lights, materials and even flavours mix "to create a work of art.
Léia :)
It is a lovely looking entrance and now you've got us intrigued.
ReplyDeleteWhy not knock?
ReplyDeleteNow you have to find out.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting! Have you ever gone up to the door and started pounding? Just bang on the door until someone answers. Then you can tell that person that Jacob in Ocala wants to know what's going on in there.
ReplyDeleteThat and a couple of bucks will get you a cup of java at Starbucks!
Please tell us when you find out. I am certainly intrigued.
ReplyDeleteOK, OK, another blogger I must 'follow'! So many blogs, so little time. Thank you for visiting My Muskoka !

ReplyDeleteThings that make ya go... Hmmm!
ReplyDeleteKeep us posted!
I bet it opens to a narrow stairway leading up or perhaps down. Just a bet, though. I hope you find out where it leads. ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't go upstairs or down?
ReplyDeleteWe have doors like that that either go up stairs or to the basement and there are all sorts of interesting things located there.
Pretty photo anyway!
Hmmmm
ReplyDeleteI'm having the same thought as Mary (above)
or
maybe a 'false doorway'
It has a nice look to it though~
Enjoy the weekend! The weather looks promising~
That is strange! Maybe it's where Willie Wonka lives.
ReplyDeleteSeems all your commenters want you to find out what's behind that door. Hope it's not a deaf old lady who keeps you knocking for hours cause she doesn't hear you. (;
