HOME, HOME ON THE RANGE

Another of those interesting murals. A campfire, a waterfall, hills, and a howling wolf. These are all typical of Fort Lauderdale. This is actually a part of the mural. It wraps around the building but the other part is a little difficult to photograph. It is an insurance agent's office and there are too many cars in front. Maybe he is originally from Wyoming.

  1. Well spotted (again:-)
It is personal and creative for the house owner. And I guess many people like it.

  2. Somebody yearns for the wide open spaces. I like it, and just might sit in my car there for a while, admiring, dreaming...

  3. You did a great work with your camera. This mural is very creative and I liked the athmosphere about a peaceful night , good wine, good friends and a beautiful moon!
    Have a nice weekend,

  4. A nice mural it is. You will have to tell all the motorists to move their cars as Fort Lauderdale Daily Photo needs to take a photo. That should do it!

  7. A strange kind of mural, not so nice like the others you showed us, but surely effective.

  8. No doubt one of the cars blocking the view on the other side was the FTLDP Staff Limousine in all its resplendent luxury.

  9. I like it. It looks more 'out west' than Florida---as I picture it anyway. MB

  10. It doesn't look a bit like Fort Lauderdale, does it? No flamingos!

  11. It's rather attractive, but doesn't look much like south Florida...like you said, he/she is probably "pining" for colder climes.

  12. I find really interesting that all the murals you show us seem to be spared from writing on them, I mean they are not destroyed or vandalized.

  14. I can't believe how many of these there are. Is it some kind of law that you must have a mural in Ft Lauderdale?

  20. You make Ft. L. seem like quite a strange place, although I'm very sure it's not. (Right.)

  21. I love the way the artist incorporated the pipe into the tree trunk and the waterfall is also great!
    Someone definitely misses the mountains!
    Enjoy the weekend!

  24. I guess the owner yearns to see something more than flat land. Many wish to be in places they're not.

  25. Very interesting--I like camping and wyoming and murals--around here, I don't think there're as many murals and the ones there are look mostly pretty beat.

  26. I didn't know what to say until I read this is an insurance agency and then it came to me. He painted this mural on his wall because he didn't want you to know he was bringing you out to the woodshed to fleece you.
