I CAN SEE FOR MILES AND MILES AND...
This is a continuation of our Wind (weather) Vane series. This is a relative of the guy in yesterday's post. I believe he was looking for his friend. Given how high up he is, he may just be able to see him. If he learns anything from his friend, it is to keep his mouth closed.

Heh. Last line :)
ReplyDeleteA closed mouth catches no flies. :)
ReplyDeleteLol, yes he'd better! I love the golden light on this!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, Florida and fish reminds me of Hemingway.
ReplyDeleteI guess he can point quite exactly with that 'nose'!
ReplyDeleteI bet this wind vane feels like a fish out of water.
ReplyDeleteThis one ties into yesterday very nicely.
ReplyDeleteThey have been talking about the NFL draft here for weeks. Thankfully its tonight, about they only thing we know is Jerry Jones wont take Tebow.
Keep his mouth closed but carry a long sword?
ReplyDeleteThe Swordfish is a beautiful animal and those two look pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like he already opened his mouth once too often. And look where it landed him.
ReplyDeleteAnother nice weather vane. MB
lol! lovely image with a superb caption as usual!
ReplyDeleteWhether or not he's a relative of the guy in your previous post, he's certainly a nice weather vane. I've looked and looked for similar things here, but it's all be in vain.
ReplyDeleteI love your weathervane series. You find such funny details.
ReplyDeleteAre there more to come??

Wow, that is a cool weather vane. This is the first one I have seen. I'll have to check out the rest.
ReplyDeleteStrange and beautiful with a great light!
ReplyDeleteVery quirky
ReplyDeleteThat's what I was wondering, if that's the guy from yesterday and he became a "Flying fish".
ReplyDeleteCUTE! You got a double theme going here.
ReplyDeleteSo many animal life representations. In Boston, there seems to be such a lack of such art. Different culture & mindset. Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteDid the FTLDP Staff Limo a.k.a. the Yugo crash with you in it? Your absence around the blogosphere this weekend has been duly noted and reported to The Authorities!
ReplyDeleteI like both this and the door.
ReplyDeletesomething fishy about his direction, perhaps my pun should go South.
