WEDNESDAY DOORWAY:HOOK, LINE, AND DENTAL FLOSS
I've been meaning to show this door for some time. It is one of my favorite entrances in the city. I pass through it twice a year. It is the front door to my dentist's office. Every time I see the fish, I think whatever happens to me will not be as bad as what happened to him. There were a couple of times I wasn't so sure, but, I lived!

ReplyDeleteWhose thong are you referring to?
«Louis» is SHOCKED!, SHOCKED! that you didn't snag this car as a replacement for the FTLDP Staff Yugo Limousine...
Oh, by the way - that you visited the dentist explains why «Louis» saw Dr. Turbodrill at Home Depot last weekend purchasing masonry bits...
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful !! Lovely and fantastic !!
ReplyDeleteNice door. My dentist doesn't have one like that.
ReplyDeletehehehe funny idea, only you to think about the poor fish! LOL
ReplyDeleteThis dentist's office is charming, beautiful doorway!
Léia :)
Very interesting engraved door, I guess is for transmit a sense of calm and relaxation before you step in. Good choice and a great title!
ReplyDeleteGreat catch! I'd like a door like this at my dentist's, even if it wouldn't make any difference...
ReplyDeleteThat's a little fishy...that one of your favorite entrances leads to your dentist's office. It is one of my least favorite doors to approach and I'm not talking about aesthetics here. But it is a pretty amazing door. Maybe I'd feel differently if my dentist had that door...nah, I don't think so.
ReplyDeleteBy "him" are you referring to the dentist or the fish? It is a super-looking door.
ReplyDeleteNice door. You can think about fishing will sitting in that CHAIR. MB
ReplyDeleteOpen wide!!! :) Just 9 days till Theme Day - Statues. ( Be there or be squareHARRRR)

Hmmm... maybe that's how the dentist lures you in. ;-)
ReplyDeleteQuite a beautiful door - for a dentist. And you can thank yourself, in part, for it seems that your treatments may have made the monthly payments!
ReplyDeleteRe golf cars stolen - An increasing number of these are stolen every year...some doofuses leave they key in them. Most are never recovered...they're are put on trucks, quickly repainted and sold again.
love your captions as much as the images you capture!!
ReplyDeleteI finally have the ocassion to use the word toothsome.
ReplyDeleteWhen you think about it that way ...
ReplyDeleteFantastic door but please, not at the dentist's!
ReplyDeleteA lovely door! I love the carvings! I've been photographing doors thinking I might post them (but haven't yet) NONE are like this!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's an amazing door.
ReplyDeleteI wish my dentist had a door like that! Maybe I wouldn't mind going so much. Well yes I would mind, but I do like the door.
ReplyDeleteThanks, B2, you really gave us something to sink our teeth in.
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned in one of my earlier posts that you'd watch for Ten Thousand Villages store in your area. Well, I checked, and there are four in
ReplyDeleteFlorida: Sarasota, Tallahassee, Winter Park and Ft. Myers. Now...go buy something!!
