WHILE STROLLING IN THE PARK ONE DAY

Have you ever been walking in the woods and come upon something that defies description. Well, that happened to us the other day. We tripped upon this assemblage of rocks. It is not near anything and doesn't appear to have been used for anything, either. Perhaps, some descendants of the Druids have reappeared. They do that every thousand years or so;and in the strangest of places.

  1. Perhaps the fairies use it as a bike shed.

  2. So it's Druid season again! We'll be on the lookout for strange circle of stones, thanks for the heads up!

  3. I like this rocky structure. I'd like to sit here and admire the scenery and greenery. I think this is a very nice place.

  6. It appears to be quite well made. Hmmm. I too would be surprised to suddenly find this on a walk in the forest.

You mentioned on my blog that you'd expect the trees in central Ontario to have turned colour more. Only a few trees have colour so far and they are few and far between.

  7. Funny, as my first thought was "Druids"!

Probably not, though. It is, as others have suggested, the site of a witches' coven. Good witches, though. So, there's nothing to fear.

They only thing is, now that you've "stumbled" upon this site, you may find certain things happening in your life which will draw you back here at different times...like Halloween, for example. And if smoke starts coming out of your ears, don't worry, the witches are just sending you a message. Of course, you might have to get a native American to decode it.

But I know you're a resilient chap and can handle such anomalies just fine!

  9. Maybe we can rustle up those theater mask pews from MC and make this place into an ampitheater!

  15. Happens every time I walk in the woods. There are many runestones from the Viking area where I live, and a few old forts.

    Good one Jacob!

  16. That is a hoot. I was reading another blog where she was looking to work in her garden and a stranger begins to hang out with her. Then, you have to read the next post when two people come and meditate on her frontage.
