ANCHORS AWEIGH
This is an angle you don't often get of a cruse ship. Imagine you are a dolphin cavorting in front of this lumbering behemoth. Interesting. Now squint just a little. It almost looks like the ship is wearing a pair of sunglasses. Enough of that. Please enlarge the photo and look underneath the starboard anchor, it helps to put things in perspective.

This is one of the Princesses, do you know which one? Crown Princess was here last week, but this looks a bit bigger. I can see the 964 feet long Orchestra in background...
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty amazing. Cities on the sea! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteI like your new layout! Yep, it IS wearing shades, how could you ever have doubted it?
ReplyDeleteI was on a big ship when I was in the navy, but I think this one is a little bigger than mine. The USNS Mercy didn't wear sunglasses either.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! The ship IS wearing sunglasses!

ReplyDeleteNice angle. Good for you it was anchored. These guys just seem to get bigger and bigger, when will it stop? We have some arriving here almost every day and they're always so impressive to watch.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what it would be like to be on a cruise to the Caribbean... That ship looks really comfy for the passengers. Nice shot, Bill.
