TREVI FOUNTAIN NOT
This is number three in our series on what people put in their front yards. This is another McMansion. The front yard has been replaced by a courtyard. And right in the middle is this fountain. Rather nice for a private residence, not your typical, run of the mill, garden variety fountain. The thing that stuck me, however, is that it must be awfully difficult to navigate in a car given that it is smack dab in the middle of the driveway. They really need "Go Slow" sign on the front gate. Perhaps, a little less ego and a bit more common sense. We should all have such problems.

:) park at a distance and walk in admiring the fountain.
ReplyDeleteWell... if you want an European feel to it, then you leave it where it is, buy a Smart and hey, where's the problem? We're used to it! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis place is lovely!
ReplyDeleteI liked that fountain, and you took a perfect shot!

A bit different. I know a man who has a steam locomotive in his garden! I have yet to photograph it, but this post yo yours gives me a few ideas!
ReplyDelete''a little less ego and a bit more common sense''! Can't agree more with you! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice fountainview for the parking area. Love them McMansions, so much fun to poke fun at them.
ReplyDeleteThis looks more like an office building than a home to me. I don't find all the concrete very warm or welcoming. It's too cold. I like my McMansion with some grass and warm colors!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful fountain. Maybe they aren't worried about navigating around it because they have a chauffeur!
ReplyDeleteIt'd probably collapsible...
ReplyDeleteVery nice and very funny. I wonder who lives there...not a teacher, I wouldn't think. Maybe the new sheriff in town...
ReplyDeleteI like your wry comments and your observations on many of your posts.
ReplyDeleteI have friends in Edinburgh who have a similar fountain in the garden at the front of their flats. It's lit up green at night, which is quite a feature (they had no say in the matter, it was already there when they moved in!).
ReplyDeleteI guess they can afford a chauffer
ReplyDeleteIt is nice looking, but a bit pretentious for a private residence.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous home! But looks quite difficult (and expensive!) to maintain. Maybe they really don't want cars too near the front door.
ReplyDeleteIt's very easy to see, the owners of this house are loaded!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come back tomorrow for more of Norwich!
