DO I HEAR THE SUPREMES ?

This is the last of this week's series on what people put in and on their lawns. The person that put the above item in his or her lawn had a specific reason. It piqued my curiosity so much that I headed for the door to solve the mystery. As I approached the door it hit me. Whatever the reason he had would never be as good as what I imagined. So, I smiled and retreated laughing all the way. So, dear reader, fill in the blank yourself. I guarantee you it will be better than any reason he had.

  1. He is obviously of Bolivian heritage and this remind him of the colors of the Bolivian flag.

  2. Its a signal that he is entertaining a date. Like the old sock on the door knob, but with more class.

  5. Do the lights actually work? If so, this is not necessarily an environmentally friendly lawn ornament - unless they're solar powered of course!

  6. Good grief. How do you find these things? Maybe we have such goofiness in Ocala and I just haven't noticed it...

Actually, I like this signal light very much. Don't know why, but I do.

Maybe there is no reason. That's reasonable.

  7. The Supremes? Mmmm... 'Stop! In the name of love'? 'Let me go the right way'? Or have you thought of something more on the Red District style (like in Amsterdam, for instance)? :-)))

  8. Sorry, I meant Red Light District...

  9. I guess it could be a kind of security system with cameras in the lights?

  12. I'm already creating a story to go with this - is the light always on red or does it change - just kidding!

  13. So this light is functional. I hope some drunk doesn't see it...it could happen!

  16. I suspect he has kids! It's an attempt to get some peace and quiet! STOP! Wait for green to proceed!
